Voices Against War
Voices Against War (VAW) is a social media initiative of the Refuser Solidarity Network established in October 2023 to amplify the voices of Israelis resisting the Gaza war. By exposing millions of people around the world to these voices, the goal is to achieve an end to the bombardment of Gaza, the entry of aid and restoration of vital resources like water and electricity, and safe return of all hostages. The long term goal is to end the Israeli occupation and establish equal rights for all people who live here.
Refuser Solidarity Network
Since 2003, Refuser Solidarity Network have supported over a thousand individuals who publicly refused to become part of the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian Territories. We’ve stood by refusers serving sentences, elevated stories of refusers through social media, press and email campaigns, and built education programs for audiences around the world highlighting the importance of resistance to the occupation.
Ending the occupation, one soldier at a time.
Military refusers come from all segments of Israeli society. They are Mizrahi, Sephardi and Ashkenazi; they are religious and secular; they are Druze, Bedouin, and Russian, they are people of all gender identities, from the large cities and from the small towns. As refusers are standing up against endless war in the most difficult time and climate to do so, we work to support their activities.
